If you hate what you hear, stick a banana in your ear.
Apparently, this is the philosophy of Real Networks, who weren't so happy about the feedback they were getting to their online petition targeting Apple.
"RealNetworks Inc. urged digital-music lovers yesterday to stand up for their freedom of choice. They responded by exercising their freedom of speech -- much to the company's chagrin.
It all started when RealNetworks launched a new Web site urging visitors to sign a petition to Apple Computer Inc., urging Apple to support the concept of making digital music from services other than its iTunes Music Store playable on its iPod music player.
But what the Seattle-based company heard from visitors leaving comments on the petition was quite different: RealNetworks, bug off. That message was delivered by so many people, so loudly and angrily, and laced with so many obscenities, that RealNetworks hastily changed its approach, cutting off visitors' ability to post and read comments as part of the petition."
